a quiet process

2011, faretheewell

Here’s a little painting that a friend of mine commissioned for a Christmas present. I know that I’ve not been on here a lot, but it is one of my goals for 2012 to post weekly; last year my goal was “escape excess” (which basically translates to hey colleen stop eating a whole wheel of brie cheese by yourself in one sitting as it is probably not healthy), which I didn’t stick to that well, but here’s to 2012 anyway! I hope you’re all able to rid yourselves of the last vestiges of 2011 and enjoy the new beginnings of 2012!

Merry merry!

Nothing like good ol’ sketchbook watercolours. I kept the warped paper in, just for fun.

crafter’s fair doodles

I had a lovely time at the Crafter’s Fair this weekend….and here are a few little things I drew while I was there.

I don’t drink coffee on a regular basis, but at the fair Homeschool Catering had some cheap and delicious brew set up, so I partook, and made this comics about it:

I was feeling a little chilly on Day 2, so I started drawing hats. There were so many good hats in attendance at the fair…these were not some of them, but here they are anyway.

I’m going to be going in to the studio at Inkstorm to screenprint some holidays cards this next week — if you are one of the first five people to email me your address, I shall send you one in the mail!
