a quiet process

new comic – fifteen months

I’m finally getting around to uploading some of the comics that I made for TCAF. Here’s one called Fifteen Months. Click on the image to read the whole thing.

Also, I think I’m going to try the Thirty Days Project this year. I did something similar a number of years back, and I want to try and produce work that I am happier with on a daily basis. I’ll probably be posting a lot of that work here. It starts tomorrow!

Jane Jacobs and Frances Wright

Jane Jacobs, urban community planner and activist, author of The Death and Life of Great American Cities.

And,

Frances (Fanny) Wright, feminist, freethinker, and writer.

TCAF and some comics

TCAF was incredible — I made a little comic recap of my weekend, which can be found here.

Also, here is a comic I made for the excellent booklet/newspaper that they handed out during the event (all those amazing volunteers!). Hurrah!

TCAF time!

I fly out to Toronto in mere hours! I am very much looking forward to TCAF, to seeing wonderful friends, meeting new ones, getting inspired by all the incredible work and talent at the festival, and even just exploring the city!

The gorgeous poster by Jillian Tamaki:

If you are looking for me, I’ll be at Table 117 on the first floor of the festival:

And here’s some of what I’ve been working on:

Also, I’ve been to busy to recap after the Crafter’s Fair, but when I return from Toronto I shall report on both!
